Engine maker, Cummins have managed to fit a ridiculously enormous V18 engine into an original Mini making it the most powerful Mini in the world ( probably ).

This monster engine is usually fitted into lorries but Cummins decided to fit one into a Mini as a publicity stunt and they plan to display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend in the UK.

The motor weighs 11 tons, is assited by 12 turbochargers, produces 3,500hp and pumps out more than 10,000lb ft of torque.

Steve Nendick from Cummins said: “It proved to be a bit tricky to fit under the bonnet, but our engineers came up with a more creative solution.”
