Nora the piano playing cat

Can you play the piano? Well meet a cat that can. Its name is Nora and its just 5 years old and been playing the piano since the age of 1.

A Lithuanian conductor, composer and artist Mindaugas Piečaitis has put together an orchestral concert with Nora playing the piano. The world premiere was performed by Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra in the Klaipėda Concert Hall in Klaipėda (Lithuania) on 5th June, 2009.

The media has gone crazy with this and broadcasted it on numerous TV networks including the BBC, Lithuanian TV, Baltic TV and the First Baltic Chanel.

Mindaugas Piečaitis composed and directed the Catcerto for Nora but had to bring her contribution in via video. I think the cat had stage fright.
