Exactly what can we do in order to be a success in life? If you don’t know the answer to that question then read on and learn five tips that successful people use on a daily basis.

1. Be Proactive

Being proactive is one of the success strategies that you must adopt in order to succeed. Most people in this world have a reactive attitude which means they react with their situation whether good or bad, whereas a proactive person would try to change the situation for the better.

Here are a few examples between a proactive and reactive person.

Example 1

Reactive
I don’t have time to exercise.

Proactive
How shall I make time to exercise?

Example 2

Reactive
I’ve never been very good at math.

Proactive
How can I improve my math skills?

What type of person are you, reactive or proactive?

2. Be Responsible

The only difference between being responsible and being irresponsible whittles down to two things: accountability and adaptability. A responsible person owns up to their role in any situation, and learns from their mistakes. An irresponsible person shifts the blame to someone or something else, and thus makes the same mistakes over and over again.

3. Be a Good Leader

We cannot be effective in any area of life unless we have good leadership skills. Leadership is an art and each of us needs to find our own approach. Primarily, we need to understand how to lead ourselves, and this means having a compass, a direction which guides all our actions. This compass often takes the form of a personal mission statement, a document spelling out the values we live by.

As we lead others, whether as parents, bosses, in families or organizations of which we are a part, we need first and foremost to lead by example, making it clear what our values are and that we live by them. Any inconsistency in our professed values and our behavior will be spotted, seen through and will ruin our effectiveness. Personal complicity and double standards are the nails in the coffin of our ability to lead.

A good leader will lead quietly and subtly, from the rear, without fuss, without fanfare. In the words of the Tao Te Ching,

‘A good soldier does not inspire fear;
A good fighter does not display aggression;
A good conqueror does not engage in battle;
A good leader does not exercise authority.

This is the value of unimportance;
This is how to win the cooperation of others;
This to how to build the same harmony that is in nature.’

4. Don’t Let Fear Stop You

Whenever we grow, there is fear. Whenever we do something new, there is fear. Whenever we push ourselves to new heights or expand our comfort zone, there is fear. This is the nature of life and it is normal to fear the unknown. Life is always moving – either we are moving forward, growing, or we are moving back, dying. We have a choice – we can either grow or we can die. Growth and fear go hand in hand. It’s part of a package, and if we fail to embrace the whole package, we will die.

Don’t fear failure – failure is inevitable and necessary. Look at the life of any successful person and you will see a litany of failure. This failure is the foundation of success, so long as we learn from it.

Don’t fear other people. They are as vulnerable and as beautiful as you are – only sometimes they lash out in various ways to protect themselves. Everyone is doing their best, so be gentle on other people and don’t be scared of them.

5. Never Stop Learning

I have come to the conclusion that learning is the fundamental activity in a successful and purposeful life. Life gives us endless opportunities to learn, and the more difficult the situation, the more likely we are to learn.

We can learn from other people, especially difficult ones – they are like angels sent from heaven to teach us about ourselves. We can learn from the things happening around us. And most of all, we can learn by watching ourselves, seeing how we react and reflecting deeply on what moves us.

If you can achieve these five activities on a daily bases and make a habit of them then there is high chance that you will have success in all areas of your life. Give them a try and see how much your life may change for the better.

When we want to increase our muscular strength we exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet to get the most out our bodies. Well are memory works in the same way, we must exercise it regularly to keep it strong, just like muscles if we don’t use it we loose it.

When we stick to the same routine day after day our brains are not being exercised so we need to try different things on a daily basis to stimulate our brains.

Here are 10 good exercises to exercise the brain.

1. Do things with your eyes closed ( get dressed, walk around your home, take a shower. )
2. Learn something new
3. Do a crossword or a suduku
4. Any physical activity
5. Repeat what ever you need to memorize over and over again.
6. Socialize regularly
7. Moving the eyes
8. Pay attention to everything you do
9. Play a memory game
10. Try to visualize everything

Stress can inhibit your memory, so try to control your stress with a simple calming exercise

Here is a list of 5 Food and drinks that can improve memory

1. Purple grape juice ( organic is best )
2. Rosemary and sage
3. Coffee
4. Fish
5. Berries ( all berries are good but blueberries are best )

Most people who hold parties use conventional ice cubes but why not try something a little different like ice cubes that glow in the dark, are colored, flavored or different shaped.

Imagine the impressed look on your guests faces when you hand them a glowing drink and heres how to make it.

1. Prepare the ingredients. You will need water and either neon coloring to make the glow effect or food coloring and if you want to give a fruit flavoring add some fruit juice.

2. Boil the water. To create a nicer clearer ice the water needs to be boiled to remove excess minerals.

3. Allow the water to cool then add neon food coloring to your desired amount and mix very well. If you want different colored ice cubes then add your desired food coloring.

4. Boil the water again for a second time. This helps to remove any excess air and minerals.

5. Allow the water to cool down again. Leave for several hours.

6. If you want flavored cubes add the desired fruit juice.

7. Once the water has cooled pour the mixture into an ice cube tray or a novelty tray if you prefer and then place in the freezer.

8. After several hours the cubes should be solid and then enjoy them anyway you want.
